Shoot at Home

I have been a big fan of iPhone photography for about 2 years now.

I also buy into the Seattle commercial and street photographer Chase Jarvis’s philosophy that “the best camera is the one that’s with you.”

I take pictures as often as I can.  I see opportunities everywhere.  But mostly, I take pictures and create projects out of those things that are close to home and that I might not otherwise record. You don’t need a special reason to take a picture, you just need the motivation and the camera that’s with you.

The other day I was walking out the front door at twilight and saw that our lilies were budding big time.  I stopped, took the picture and planned to put it together with a shot of the same flower in full bloom.

Here is the result.  The shots were taken a week apart.

Now I’ll never give up my DSLR, but…  did I mention that I like the apps?
